The challenge was to design a platform that communicates WWTF’s scientific mission while remaining visually engaging and accessible. We needed to balance academic credibility with emotional storytelling, showcasing real researchers, their projects, and why science matters.
Structuring a high-volume of educational content without overwhelming the user required clear visual hierarchy, strategic layout decisions, and careful typography. The site also had to adapt seamlessly across devices and languages, making accessibility and usability key priorities throughout the process.

The final result is a user-friendly, story-driven website that highlights the people behind the science. A clean grid system, vibrant images, and modular components allow visitors to explore projects, researcher profiles, and key scientific topics with ease.
Subtle animations add liveliness without distracting from the content. We ensured that the design reflects WWTF’s credibility while keeping users engaged and informed — from students and citizens to experts and policy-makers.
